In Southwestern Connecticut there are four bus operators: CTTRANSIT, Norwalk Transit District, Greater Bridgeport Transit, and Valley Transit District. The railroad — The New Haven Line — has a Main Line that runs along the coast and three branch lines which feed into it — the New Canaan, Danbury and Waterbury Branch Lines.
