Eligibility:

The 2026 Drive Less Connecticut Challenge is open to all CTrides members who are residents of Connecticut. CTrides employees and their immediate family members are encouraged to participate and log trips, but they are not eligible to win prizes. To be eligible for gift card drawings, trips must be recorded in a member account via the CTrides app or the official website at ctrides.agilemile.com. While members can record trips by syncing with other apps like Strava or Garmin, the trip must ultimately appear in the CTrides system to be counted

Eligible Trips:

Eligible trips shall include trips taken by transit, carpool, vanpool, bike, scooter, microtransit (defined as shared transportation services operating with flexible routes and schedules), walking, or telecommuting (working from home). All travel modes qualify for both work and non-work-related trips. Telecommuting is defined as completing a workday from home rather than traveling to a worksite.

Participation Requirements:

The minimum qualification for participating in the trip-based drawings is to have recorded at least ten (10) eligible trips between April 22, 2026, and May 31, 2026. Additionally, members may qualify for a separate drawing by completing the “Drive Less Connecticut Pledge” on the CTrides website either before or during the Challenge period.

Gift Card Drawings:

There shall be five gift card drawings as follows:

1. Pledge Entry: 10 x $10 gift cards (Open to all members who submit a challenge pledge before or during the Challenge period).
2. 10 to 19 eligible trips recorded: 10 x $50 gift cards.
3. 20 to 29 eligible trips recorded: 5 x $100 gift cards.
4. 30 to 49 eligible trips recorded: 2 x $250 gift cards.
5. 50 or more eligible trips recorded: 1 x $500 gift card.

Random drawings will take place on July 1st, 2026, exactly a month after the Challenge, to allow participants to record their eligible trips in May during June. CTrides will randomly select winners for each gift card category from all members who qualify in each category. All prizes are provided and distributed by Agile Mile.

Eligibility for Multiple Drawings:

Members who qualify for a higher trip category are automatically entered into the drawing for that category and all categories below it (e.g., a member with 50+ trips is entered into all four drawings). Participants are limited to winning one (1) prize for the duration of the 2026 Challenge. In the event a participant is randomly selected in multiple categories, they will be awarded the highest-value prize for which they were drawn. The lower-value prize(s) will then be reassigned to an alternate winner. The Pledge Drawing is independent. Participants are eligible to win one (1) Pledge prize in addition to any trip-based prize they may win.

Notification of Winners:

Winners in each category will be notified by email from the CTrides Agile Mile account on or before July 6, 2026. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their contact details are accurate and for monitoring their inbox and spam/junk folders. Winners shall have five (5) business days from the date the notification email was sent to accept the prize by notifying CTrides by email. If a winner does not respond and accept the prize within this period, the prize shall be offered to another randomly selected member (alternate winner). CTrides shall repeat this process for up to two (2) alternate winners. After this, the prize shall be rescinded and will not be reallocated.

Unclaimed Prizes:

CTrides reserves the right to rescind unclaimed prizes at its discretion. Unclaimed prizes may be redirected to future program initiatives or forfeited entirely.

Modification and Disqualification:

CTrides reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the challenge at any time. Participants will be informed of changes via email and updates on the CTrides websites. Providing false information or violating the terms of the program will result in immediate disqualification.

Privacy and Data Usage:

CTrides will use the personal information collected from participants solely for the purpose of this challenge, including notification and prize distribution. No personal data will be shared with third parties, except for our partner Agile Mile for the sole purpose of prize fulfillment, without the participant’s explicit consent.

Liability:

CTrides is not responsible for technical issues that may prevent a participant from receiving notifications or prizes, including email misdelivery or errors in account updates. Additionally, CTrides is not responsible for any technical failures, delays, or data inaccuracies related to third-party apps or devices synced with a member account. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that all eligible trips are successfully recorded in the CTrides system by the logging deadline.

Agreement:

By participating in the 2026 Drive Less Connecticut Climate Challenge, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
