Eligibility to participate in the 2024 Drive Less Connecticut Climate Challenge gift card drawings is open to all CTrides members who record eligible trips in their member accounts. Eligible trips shall include trips taken by transit, carpool, vanpool, bike, walking or telecommute (working from home). Trips are not limited to work-related trips except for trips recorded as working from home. The minimum qualification for participating in a drawing is to have recorded trips from April 22 through May 31 that cumulatively result in having taken and recorded one eligible trip. There shall be four gift card drawings as follows: 1. 1 but less than 20 eligible trips recorded – 10 x $25 gift cards; 2. 20 but less than 30 eligible trips recorded – 4 x $100 gift cards; 3. 30 but less than 50 eligible trips recorded – 2 X $250 gift cards; and 4. 50 or more eligible trips recorded – 1 x $500 gift card. Random drawings shall be conducted following the end of the Challenge. CTrides shall randomly select winners for each gift card category from all members who qualify in each category. Members shall only be eligible to be included in the highest eligible trip recorded category for which they qualify and shall not be eligible for more than one gift card drawing. Winners in each category shall be notified on or before Friday, June 14 by email and shall have five (5) business days thereafter to accept the prize by notifying CTrides by email. If a winner does not respond and accept the prize within the five (5) day period, the prize shall be offered to another randomly selected member (alternate winner) included in the category drawing. The same time period for response and acceptance shall apply to each selected prize winner and alternative winners. CTrides reserves the right to limit the number of alternate winners it shall offer the prize following a nonresponse from the each winner within the designated time period. If a prize goes unclaimed subsequent to CTrides offering a prize to one or more alternate winners as it shall determine at its own discretion, that prize shall be rescinded.
