Eligibility:

Eligibility to participate in the 2025 Drive Less Connecticut Challenge gift card drawings is open to all CTrides members who record eligible trips in their member accounts. This challenge is open to residents of the state of Connecticut only. CTrides employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Eligible Trips:

Eligible trips shall include trips taken by transit, carpool, vanpool, bike, scooter, microtransit (defined as shared transportation services operating with flexible routes and schedules), walking, or telecommuting (working from home). Trips are not limited to work-related trips except those recorded as working from home.

Participation Requirements:

The minimum qualification for participating in a drawing is to have recorded trips from April 22, 2025, through May 31, 2025, cumulatively resulting in at least one (1) eligible trip being recorded.

Gift Card Drawings:

There shall be four gift card drawings as follows:

1. 1 to 19 eligible trips recorded: 10 x $25 gift cards.
2. 20 to 29 eligible trips recorded: 4 x $100 gift cards.
3. 30 to 49 eligible trips recorded: 2 x $250 gift cards.
4. 50 or more eligible trips recorded: 1 x $500 gift cards.

Random drawings will occur on June 9, 2025, following the end of the Challenge. CTrides randomly select winners for each gift card category from all members who qualify in each category. All prizes are generously donated by our sponsor, Agile Mile.

Eligibility for Multiple Drawings:

Members shall only be eligible to be included in the highest eligible trip category for which they qualify. Participants cannot win in multiple categories. Each member shall only qualify for one drawing based on the highest level of eligible trips recorded.

Notification of Winners:

Winners in each category will be notified by email from our CTrides Agile Mile account on or before June 13, 2025. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their contact details are accurate and up to date to receive notifications. Winners shall have five (5) business days from the date of the notification to accept the prize by notifying CTrides by email. If a winner does not respond and accept the prize within this period, the prize shall be offered to another randomly selected member (alternate winner) included in the category drawing. CTrides shall repeat the process for up to two (2) alternate winners. After this, the prize shall be rescinded and will not be reallocated.

Unclaimed Prizes:

CTrides reserves the right to rescind unclaimed prizes at its discretion. Unclaimed prizes may be redirected to future program initiatives or forfeited entirely.

Modification and Disqualification:

CTrides reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the challenge at any time. Participants will be informed of changes via email and updates on the CTrides websites. Providing false information or violating the terms of the program will result in immediate disqualification.

Privacy and Data Usage:

CTrides will use the personal information collected from participants solely for the purpose of this challenge, including notification and prize distribution. No personal data will be shared with third parties without the participant’s explicit consent.

Liability:

CTrides is not responsible for technical issues, such as email misdelivery or errors in account updates, that may prevent a participant from receiving notifications or prizes.

Agreement:

By participating in the 2025 Drive Less Connecticut Climate Challenge, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
